3 Nov 2004
"Construction is to build and to put together which is the concept has been well complied by Aquacool AK1000.
The thoughtful bundle of AK1000 has been considered as this way: all of the buyers and end-users are same beginner-like at water-cooling.
It was a good shot. We aimed at the point."---jetart

Jetart AquaCool AK1000 External Liquid Cooling Kit

20 Oct 2004
"With water cooling becoming more mainstream, more and more companies are entering the market with their own systems and ideas on how it all should be done. Some companies are going for maximum cooling for the enthusiast market, while others are building systems for the everyday mainstream user. Some of these systems are designed to be installed inside the computer case, while others are intended to sit outside the case. Today we are looking at a new system from a company that has been around for some time. Here¡¯s a little run down on Jetart, the information is from their web site."---systemcooling.com

Case Arts PSU Modding Tool Kit

13 Oct 2004
"I'd like to send a huge thanks out to the great people over at Case Arts for making this review possible. The Case Arts PSU Modding Tool Kit is something that should have been released a long time ago. This nifty little kit really helps when you are modding your PSU. Instead of making the mistake of taking a paper clip and using that to extract all of the pins from your PSU, spend the extra money on this kit, it is well worth the extra cost. This kit does a great job in most applications, lets see how the kit performs!"---extensivemods
CaseArts 3D Artistic Thumb Screws

19 Sep 2004
"The screws come in 8 different styles containing four screws in each package. They are well packed and supported by some kind of blue foam, not allowing the screws to move inside the package. When I first saw these screws I pictured them to be made of plastic, but they surely aren't. These screws are all metal, and when you hold them in your hand you feel that they are high quality. Some of these screws are for mounting fans and some for your case sides, the skull motive for example comes in both variations. They are very detailed and easy to use since they're not at all slippery."---rbmods
CaseArts Big 4 Pin Fireflies Review

16 Sep 2004
"As we have progressed over the years with personal home computers, people are always looking for a way to spice up the inside with windows being readily available with most cases these days. One such modification is to add LED's into the Molex connectors to light them up. For some people this may be a bit hard, not have the time or might not have the tools. CaseArts provides a solution for this which is their Big 4 Pin Fireflies Kit."---whisptech
PSU Modding Tool Kit

15 Sep 2004
"As we progress in the modding world everyone eventually gets to a point where they want to re-pin or change the colour of the connectors within a computer system. Doing this sometimes can be challenging especially with the 20/24 pin Atx connector and the 12v power connector. But there is tools out there that we can get to help us along with making the changing of the connectors easier to do. One such kit is the CaseArts PSU Modding Tool Kit that I will be reviewing today."---whisptech

Jetart Xcool NP5000 Laptop Cooler Review

3 Sep 2004
"Although laptop coolers are nothing new to the enthusiast market, one would question the real necessity of them. I mean, if your laptop would get too hot, the whole 4 or 5 real manufacturers of laptops would catch that, and put in better cooling, right? But one could say that a cooler system will last longer, and perhaps be not as prone to crashes and lock-ups. Back on track here, this cooler is very unique in a few ways; it has a 4 port USB 2.0 Hub, adjustable fan speed, and it's AC powered!"---extensiontech.net

xRaider™ Mouse Pad

13 Aug 2004
"I think that everyone by now must be familiar with the concept of a glowing mouse pad. They take on various designs from a completely glowing base, to the edges glowing, to bubble styled acrylic glass... you get the idea. But more often than not a simple idea is the best one, and whilst the Flexiglow FX Game Pad was a good pad with an innovative 7 colours in one, sometimes you just want one colour. If you're a gamer, there will be other things you will consider when it comes to a mousing surface too. Features such as a low height to reduce wrist strain, plenty of room from the mouse pad, and of course the surface has to be just right."---Viper Lair

6 Aug 2004
"Do you like your mouse so sensitive that it cries when you click it? Well then this is the mouse pad for you. It's slippery like ice but without the mess and it glows like uranium but with less death. I am reviewing the xRaider game pad from Flexiglow."---moddin.net

CaseArt's Artistic 3D Thumb Screws

20 Jul 2004
"In the case modding world today nothing is unacceptable or inappropriate when modding your case, from case windows to fully customised and designed shells. These specially crafted metallic "Artistic 3D Case Thumb Screws" provided by Case Arts are a new and unique item in the case modding world."---ozcasemodz
Flexiglow FX Game pad

20 Jul 2004
"Maybe you can't build a better mousetrap, but Flexiglow has managed to improve on the mousepad idea with their new Illuminated Fx Game Pad, provided by Maxdy. It combines a slick (but not too slick) hard plastic gaming surface with a stylish lighted border. Not a lot of benchmarks to run on this piece of hardware, but it's a functional item so I'll give it a look."---virtual-hideout.net

JetArt X-Cool NP5000 Laptop Cooler

12 Jul 2004
"There's nothing like the rude awakening that comes from a suddenly hot lap. I know that more than a couple people have experienced the discomfort of moving a laptop from their desk to their laps; within moments of settling into a comfortable position, your legs break into a sweat and you find yourself putting the laptop back where it was. Or, you start with the laptop in your lap and get used to the heat as it rises. Unfortunately, by the time you can feel it the temperature is already way past uncomfortable. It might not be hot enough to cook an egg but it's definitely hot enough to make you take notice."---envynews.com

Full Sorted Molex Kit with Tool

15 Jun 2004
"It has always been a time consuming job to remove the classic molex connectors which we see on our all our computer Power Supply Units (PSU). Fret not. Xmod International have brought to us an easier means of removing the common power connectors we see in our computers namely the male and female molex power connectors, floppy power connectors, fan 3-pin power connectors, auxiliary 5-pin power connectors, P4 4-pin connector blocks and the ATX 20-pin connector blocks. Xmod International is a fairly new company in the modding scene and they have already been producing impressive products."---pcmoddingmy.com
Multi-Function Control Panel DT5000

15 Jun 2004
"The system start of the DT5000 is both dramatic and irritating. You can tell that the Xpanel is on not only because the display lights up, but also by the excruciating little tune from the Piezo speaker within the device. It doesn't take long for it to play through the scales, but this will really wake you up after you turn on your computer in the morning. This ridiculous function cannot be turned off, so your neighbors will be thrilled."---tomshardware
Multi-Function Control Panel DT6000

15 Jun 2004
"In contrast to the other fan controls, the DT6000 does not lower operating voltage but rather pulses it. That means that the DT 6000 interrupts the current as soon as a certain fan rpm level has been reached. This has the disadvantage that although the connected fans do turn more slowly, they make even more noise than before because they constantly have to speed up again. The hard disk fan in the DT6000 is of just this sort and quickly gets on your nerves. With 80 and 120 mm fans the pulse effect was not that noticeable."---tomshardware

Case Arts Artistic Thumb Screws

4 Jun 2004
"These screws come in packs of four, making them ideal for PSU installations, or for securing your side panels. They have a big surface area that makes for a nice grip. The art on them is not bad. If you aren't a fan of the flags, they have a pretty amazing selection of different logos and art to choose from, something to suit most anyone's need."---thinkcomputers.org
FoxCONN PKP118 P4 Prescott Cooler

4 Jun 2004
"The heatsink is very well constructed, also, and appears to be pretty solid. The heatsink has a very good lap job to it too, one of the best we have reviewed so far. It has 2 heatpipes which run from the bottom to the top of the cooler. The fan blows air INTO the cooler from the side. Most coolers we see today either blow air in or from the top of the cooler. I believe and have always believed this way to be more efficeint, as is can more-efficeintly pass air outside of the case."---kickassamd
Foxconn Heat Guzzler

31 May 2004
"Computer heatsinks are often composed of copper and/or aluminum and the design is just the use of simple fins to dissipate the large amounts of heat produced. However, the heatsinks in this review are very different to the conventional heatsinks you are used to. The Foxconn Prescott 3.6 GHz/P4 3.4 Heat pipes (PKP118GB2D1X) and K7 XP 3400+ 3 Heat Pipes 70*15 LED Fan (PKP134G01F1X) offer heat pipes as well as fins to help disperse heat away from your expensive components."---extremereviews.net
Flexiglow FX Game pad

26 May 2004
"The mousepad is well constructed, and appears to be pretty solid. One thing i noticed right away is the location of the switch to cycle the 8 options. It's located right on the top of the pad on the actual surface. This could tend to be a problem if you use normal mouse-sensitivty. If you move the mouse into the button it could rip it right out of the pad. I'd like to see this relocated to the bottom of the pad, that would definately make for a more worthy gaming pad, especially with the price tag this one bares."---kickassamd
Flexiglow FX Game pad

27 Apr 2004
"We all know the benefits of a good mouse pad. Although good mouse pads are very common, they are all relativity boring. All they do is sit there, not drawing attention to themselves. Well, the FX Game Pad from FlexiGlow (sold at Max Distribution) is certainly not boring. With its easy glide surface and 7 color illuminations, the Flexiglow FX Game Pad will certainly draw attention to itself."---atruereview

13 Apr 2004
"The Flexiglow FX Game Pad is visually stunning due to its seven different colors, but it’s not just appearance which makes this pad different, it is also an approved mousing surface by gaming enthusiasts."---extremereviews.net

Heatpipe Heatsinks:Foxconn Heat Guzzler

14 Apr 2004
"We all know the importance of keeping our processors cool but as CPU speeds continue to climb higher, cooling a processor becomes a bigger challenge. Water cooling is a great way to cool down CPUs but the +$100 entrance fee and risks involved (Evercool WC-201) keep average computer users away. With air cooling, the notion that bigger heatsinks and bigger fans equal better cooling is true. Although, there are physical limits as to how big a HSF can get before it no longer becomes practical."---atruereview

Flexiglow FX Game pad

27 Feb 2004
"With it's smooth surface and brilliant color options, the FxGame Pad would make a great addition to anyone's desk top. The only real problem with this pad is the position of the button, this might be a problem to a lot of people. I think having a inline button somehow would make this pad that much better (damn that button). It might not be the best choice for gamers but the FxGame Pad is a big hit at my wife's office :)"---voidedwarranty

5.25" Desktop PC Multimedia Entertainment DVD Players

26 Feb 2004
"One of the greatest strengths is that it can function independent of PC power. It looks fabulous on the front of the case, which is always a plus. The remote control offers many features of a standard audio deck such as shuffle, repeat, search, FM presets, and more. The audio quality isn't going to challenge high-end dedicated hardware, but for a convergence product like this it manages to do a good job of integrating its various functions. The fact that it doesn't use any computing power to play CD's or MP3's (or the radio) means that there are no software/resource conflicts to worry about. As far as I can tell, the only system specification that is really required is the IDE interface, so Linux users may be able to use this out of the box, although the documentation doesn't mention this. In short, it makes a great addition to a "Multimedia" PC."---virtual-hideout.net

"Have you ever wanted to listen to your favorite FM radio station on your computer? Or maybe listen to your music CDs or MP3s without powering up your computer? Okay, all that and play DVDs too...by just adding a single component to your computer? Well, there really is an add in computer component that will do all that called the VPC1000 Multimedia Hub. Home Appliance Computers are becoming more and more popular, and the VPC1000 will get you there without purchasing an entire new system. Wondering how they packed all this goodness into one drive? We are wondering the same thing, so let's take a closer look!"---ClubOC.net
